Swimming pool renovation

Once upon a time things were easier here in Paxos... a swimming pool was like a rarity.. so why don’t consider to have it larger than the average? So Koukla House swimming pool was built with a generous 12x6 meters rectangular form factor.

Even today this pool is still one of the largest on Paxos, but with more than 15 years of honored service it was time for a renovation!

What we missed more? Surely the roman steps.

We wanted an easier access, more comfortable and safer, especially for little kids.

In the meantime, we decided to replace all the pipes system, as well as the engine room, because we believe that the hidden details have the same importance of the visible ones.

For what concerns the rest, the pool looks basically the same, keeping the rural touch of the stones around its perimeter and the sand liner. We then added another skimmer to keep it cleaner, and an additional led light so to enjoy it also in the night.
